Elise Bacon is certified in Orthopedic Massage for treatment of muscle and joint pathologies, as well as certified in decongestive therapy (Manual Lymph Drainage). As a licenced massage therapist since 1993, a pilates teacher since 1987, and a dancer and triathlete, Elise's broad experience in the world of movement and bodywork informs and complements both her massage work and Pilates instruction.
Elise is fully certified in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) through the internationally recognized Dr. Vodder School. This therapy cleanses the body tissues of edema and pathogens enabling the natural immune response to work more efficiently.
